I was scanning the image folders in my sister's laptop when I came across a picture of Korean actor, So In Jung of Memories of Bali (as Paulo Jung. Remember that drama in ABS-CBN 2, Pinoys?)

And then it hit me!

He resembles Kei Inoo!!!!! OHNOEZZ. Well, it's just my opinion, thought. Now I know why I thought Inoo is Korean when I first met him. THE LULLZ. 

Ok, so for your LOLZ: 

The movie 71 had first caught my interest for starring young actors Kim Bum and Yoo Seung-ho as student soldiers in wartime, but problems arose when the movie encountered budget issues and the like. The stars dropped out and the production halted for an extended period. Now, the project has changed production companies and been revived with a new title and new stars: TOP and Kwon Sang-woo will be meeting onscreen as the two leads of Into the Gunfire [포화 속으로].

The old title referred to a real incident during the Korean war when North Korean soldiers had invaded and 71 South Korean students had banded together to defend their home (in Pohang, Gyeongsang-do). Kim Bum’s former character had risen to lead the students in the pivotal battle.

With this new casting, Kwon Sang-woo plays a man who enlists in the military after being suspected in a murder and volunteers for the student forces; TOP plays another, more junior student soldier. Actors Cha Seung-won (City Hall) and Kim Seung-woo (IRIS) are in contention for other roles: Cha as a North Korean officer and Kim as a lieutenant leading the 71 young soldiers. Directing is Lee Jae-hwan of A Moment to Remember and writing is Lee Man-hee of A Turtle Runs.

(I’ve made the joke before, but this time I’m honestly perplexed: Does Kwon Sang-woo really not know what his image and/or generation is? I’m not saying that a man can’t take leading roles with younger actors, because Kwon can totally still do the sexy leading man thing. But the role in question is of a student and had previously been filled by Kim Bum — thirteen years younger is a big leap, even if the character has been tweaked. I’m puzzled.)

The film will begin shooting at the end of November or early December, and plans for a mid-2010 release.

Shaped like a pair of eye-glasses, but without the lenses, the computer-assisted Tele Scouter would use an imaging device to project almost real-time translations directly onto the user’s retina.

The text—provided instantly through voice recognition and translation programs—would effectively provide movie-like ‘subtitles’ during a conversation between two people wearing the glasses.

The band Maximum the Hormone said today they are taking an extended break from performing. The reason? Drummer Nao (33) has been told by doctors that the band's style and schedule is harmful for both her and her unborn baby. Nao, who got married at the end of last year, found out she was pregnant in early September.

Sakamoto Masayuki & Nakazawa Yuko spotted again

Although V6 leader Sakamoto Masayuki and former Morning Musume leader Nakazawa Yuko have reportedly been dating for 8 years (since performing together in the musical Footloose back in '01), they seem to have done a pretty good job avoiding the paparazzi, until now.

Josei Seven caught the two late last month at a shabu shabu restaurant in the metro area. According to a showbiz insider, "Sakamoto's been going there for a long time and Nakazawa is usually with him." One of the restaurant's regular patrons said they always discuss work and she gives him advice. They also mention she had a silver ring on her left ring finger.

The Kim Sisters were arguably the first girl group in the history of Korean popular music. They debuted in their teens in the early 1950s, and were extremely popular among U.S. soldiers stationed in Korea. They played many instruments and danced, and enjoyed substantial success in the United States when they debuted there in 1959. After returning to Korea in 1970, they released a number of hit songs.

Hoping to emulate the Kim Sisters' success, there were many new "sister" groups from the late 1950s.

The Chosun Ilbo

Six membered 2PM, expected to make their comeback mid November, has been revealed after the long months of being hidden behind a veil.

The night of the 6th on cable channel's OnStyle, 2PM revealed their advertisement filming through 'Star Magazine 2009.'

This is the first time that 2PM has shown themselves after their leader abruptly left the group. It marked the 60 day anniversary of his leave. The members were seen filming for an organic food brand.

Junho, Taecyeon, NichKhun, Chansung, Wooyoung, and Junsu were wearing a black and white concept outfit and smiled a lot of the camera, showing their brighter side. Junho was so into the filming that he even accidentally ripped his own shirt.

2PM looked healthy and charismatic, showing off their bodies with well defined muscles. During the interview, the members each introduced a short description of their styles and revealed make up tips.

Netizens welcomed the boys after not having seen them for so long. Some fans even mentioned that their finishing greeting was a bit disappointing, as the leader's empty spot could be felt more clearly.
